On June 4, 2026, the Camp Eberhart Alumni Association will host a gathering at the Friendly Tavern, located at 12355 M-60, Jones, MI 49061. The event will begin at 5:00 PM. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

George A. Cooper Alumni Association Award

The Camp Eberhart Alumni Association will honor the memory and life of George A. Cooper on June 5, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Indian Lake Yacht Club, located at 55900 Indian Lake Road, Dowagiac, MI 49047. During this event, the George A. Cooper Alumni Association Award will be presented to the 2026 recipient.

This award is presented in recognition of the numerous lives saved by George A. Cooper on Indian Lake on April 4, 1921, as well as the thousands of lives he positively impacted during his tenure as Director of Camp Eberhart. The award is given to an individual in the Greater Michiana area who has demonstrated either an act of heroism or enduring loyalty and significant contributions to Camp Eberhart.

A social gathering will follow immediately after the presentation at the Indian Lake Pub, located at 55986 Indian Lake Road, Dowagiac, MI 49047.
